There is nothing more adorable...

than a swaddled little baby. Every time you were swaddled up, I could't help but giggle at our little "Baby Burrito".

Happy Thanksgiving

Grandma couldn't get enough of you, she hugged and kissed on you constantly, she couldn't wait to see our light on in the room in the morning so she could come hug you!
Today we are so thankful that we have been blessed with such a perfect baby boy...We are also thankful because Grandma & Grandpa arrived to help take care of us all :)

Going Home

Going home was the most joyous moment of the day! I couldn't believe you were actually ours and coming with us! Mommy cried tears of joy and was so excited on the way home that she called Grandma Leasure, Grandma & Grandpa DeZurik, Aunt Janelle and Miss Vicki just to let them all know how excited and happy she was...you slept from the moment you got in your car seat until we got home, not a single cry or whimper. Going home was a scary thing! Only scary because it was just me & Daddy taking care of you...actually more Daddy because Mommy was a little bit too sore to do a whole lot of moving around and couldn't take the stairs at all, so Daddy set up a mini kitchen upstairs so Mommy would have everything she needed!

Adam's first visitors

Grandma Leasure was your very first visitor! She couldn't hardly wait to meet you! You both fell in love instantly :) Uncle Mike brought her while Aunt Barbara was at work.
Dovan Lee, Daddy's friend from work, was your next visitor...
Then Aunt Renee and Uncle Mike....
Then Aunt Karen & Uncle Shawn

Finally, Little Pea has arrived!

Adam, on November 18th, after 22 hours of non medicated labor, and a quick c-section, you are finally here! You were transverse, which means you didn't turn coming down the birth canal, so you were wedged in there and needed a little assistance making your arrival :) By the time I caught up with you and Daddy in recovery, Daddy was smitten-the look on his face I had never seen before. He had transformed into the softest, sweetest man! I can't hardly believe you are here and this is real, I look at you and cry tears of joy...you are ours, you're perfect, precious and SOOOO adorable! I can never imagine being more in love. As a friend once said, "It is just like the cartoons when stars & hearts shoot out of their eyes"

Hey Little Pea, it is time to come out and play

Okay Pea, You were due 5 days ago...and though I am very sure I will miss you wriggling around inside of me it is time to GET OUT! No more gymnastics, no more rearranging the furniture, no more swimming! You keep moving around trying to find more room and I promise there is a lot more room out here than where you are now. The Midwife says you are 8+ lbs and if we are gonna get you out au naturelle with no drugs or interventions, NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE A BREAK FOR IT!!! Love, Mommy
