A New Year, A New Goal

As part of my daily rituals, I will post something every day about Adam and his adventures.

Adam got a checkers game for Christmas.  Right after Thanksgiving he made a Tic-Tac-Toe game at Lowes and he mastered it in about 3 days.  He has been playing Checkers for 6 days now and is OBSESSED with learning all the nuances.  He actually won 3 games today fair & square.  I am not one of those parents that lets their child win-that is not how life works.  I don't let him win, but I do teach him strategies and he is truly a good student.  He has managed to master every game he has learned to play to date.  Adam also LOVES to point out my mistakes and "teach" me too.  Games have always been a big part of my life, so glad he is enjoying them as much as I!!
