For Mother's Day, we went to Auntie Baba's(Barbara) and she took Adam all around their property on their golf cart, Adam even got to drive! In all the excitement to come tell us about it, he wiped out on the driveway and scraped his knee up pretty good.
Today we ran errands(mostly to get FUN bandaids, now that Adam has experienced them and nothing else will do). Everywhere we went Adam told his story of his accident. "Anam faw down on treet, Auntie Baba give Anam juice box, make Anam feel better".
Duly noted Little Pea, will restock the juice boxes, maybe they will make temper tantrums go away, too.

CHOO CHOO IN CHATTANOOGA
We are going to see and ride on Thomas the Train next weekend...so we have been talking about it with Adam. He knows we are going with Brady, Miss Helen and Mr. Jamie, but he also thinks we are going to see ALL of the characters from Thomas and he will stop and list them all. I don't know which will disappoint him more, not seeing all the characters or NOT going to the Island of Sodor, which is where he INSISTS we are going to see his friend Thomas.

Where's Sally?
Yesterday morning, while I was making breakfast, Adam was in the family room, playing with his Cars cars...you know, the ones from the movie (that he had to have after playing with his friend Weebip's)...then he ran to the playroom, back to the family room, laid down on the floor and looked under the sofa, ran back to the playroom. This went on for about 3 minutes.
Adam then, exasperated, runs up to me and yells, "Momma, I can find Sally any where! Help Momma!"
Being the superhero I am, I located Sally in less than 2 minutes and saved the day. So glad I am a superhero, because hearing "Momma find Sawwee" for the next hour was NOT in the least bit appealing :)
It is just fascinating that he can inventory his 15 Cars characters and notice one missing IMMEDIATELY.

Fail proof Alarm clock
Adam has this amazing high-pitched, hurt your ear drums squeal/scream thing he does. Not only can he do it very loudly, but for an extended period of time.
I should tape it and put it into an alarm clock. You would be guaranteed to get up so you can stop the unbelievable screech IMMEDIATELY and you would NEVER EVER hit the snooze, as you would never want to hear that sound again. Video to come.

NUDIE TOOTIE!!
We had our Mom's Club over today for a play group and in the middle of the playgroup, Adam comes running from the playroom to the ktichen, naked from the waist down and shouts, "LOOK MOMMY-I'M NUDIE TOOTIE!!!" So proud of himself, so stinkin' adorable. I love that kid.

Comparisons...
Not only is Adam's vocabulary exploding with many, long sentences, but his understanding of the world is just amazing to me.
For example: at lunch, there was a complete onion slice on my salad and he picked it up and said "look Mommy, just like a hula hoop"...last night he brought me Guido (from Cars) and said "just like fork lift". He put on his new big boy underwear over his diaper and said "Mommy, underwear just like Kyla". There are a million more I should have been writing down.
Easter morning, he spent a good 20 minutes playing in the closet with two cars,a flashlight and a twirling lit up Easter egg on a stick.
He's a genius I tell you, a genius.
